Getting Started with ooSooM
After downloading ooSooM you need to double click the downloaded file to extract the ooSooM folder.
Drag the extracted ooSooM folder to an appropriate place on your computer. On Windows this may be the Program Files folder, on Mac OSX this may be the Applications folder. You can even drag the ooSooM folder onto an external hard disk or USB pen drive and run it from there should you wish to do so.
After moving the folder into your desired location, open the folder and inside you will find the actual ooSooM program. Double click to run the program.
As this is the first time you have run the program the first thing you will see is a dialog message box similar to this:
Just click the OK button to continue.
The main ooSooM screen will open along with a nag screen encouraging your to register and receive your serial number.

If you wish to register immediately then click the ‘Get Your Free Personal License’ button. This will open an email for you. Fill in your name and press Send.
You will receive a license via email usually with an hour, although it can take up to 24 hours. When you get the license see the next section ‘Registering ooSooM’ for details on how to input your Name and Serial Number.
If you wish to try ooSooM before registering them click the ‘Not Yet’ button to close the nag screen.

You are now free to go ahead and start using ooSooM. See the ooSooM Manual for additional details on using Todo Items and Vault Items.
If you want to use the Encryption features of ooSooM you need to input your R10Cipher or ooSooM Pro Serial Number. See the Manual section on Encryption for details on how to do this.
