When you download a Trial Version from Arten Science you are actually downloading the full product. To register the product and remove any restrictions you need either a License file or a Serial Number. This is emailed to you following purchase of the product.
A single license entitles you to install the software on two computers. We believe it’s not unreasonable to expect that nowadays people sometimes have both a desktop and laptop computer and we wouldn’t expect you to have to buy two licenses just because you choose to work on the train or in front of the TV instead of at your desk.
Some Arten Science products have a ‘Corporate License’ as standard. This means that purchase of a single license entitles you to run as many copies of the software as you like, within the confines of your organisation. This means easy, simple and cost effective licensing. SMSRelay Suite is an example of one such product.
Once a license is purchased that entitles you to free updates for any minor revision of the product. For example from 1.0.5 to 1.1.0. If a major version (2.0.0 for example) is released you will be entitled to a heavily discounted price if you choose to upgrade within 30 days.
