Both of the above features are designed to make life easier for the user and to avoid any areas of potential confusion.

ooSooM has received a new, much asked for, feature. The addition of ’Tick Boxes’ against each Todo Item. To mark an item as Complete you can just click the box. An Archive feature will be added in a future release, that will take each ’ticked’ item and store them separately under an Archive heading.

Apple Store Demos R10Office

I’m pleased to be able to say that I received a very nice email from an Apple Store in the States asking if I would mind them using an NFR (Not For Resale) R10Office on their demonstration machines. Would I mind ? Obviously not at all

Here’s part of the email:

I have found your R10Office, and I AM IMPRESSED. This is so much easier than apps like Daylite, which is often too much for my clients to learn.

So, besides the fan mail, I'd like to request NFR licenses for our two Business laptops in the store, which we use to demo software to our clients. If this is something you can do, I'll spend some serious time mastering the individual components and start showing it to my clients.

Kudos for this suite, and have a Happy New Year!

Needless to say I have provided the NFR license. This is the kind of publicity and promotion you cannot buy.

R10BatchMail Updated to 1.9.8

R10BatchMail has been updated to version 1.9.8

You can download it from here.

This version has had some alterations to make it more powerful and effective as a member of the R10Office suite.

As well as being able to select your contacts for the mailing from your ContaX database, you can now write the results of the mailing back to each individual contact in the ContaX database. This will be stored as part of their History.

R10BatchMail has been updated to version 1.9.3

You can download it from here.

This version has had some alterations to make it fit more nicely within the R10Office suite.

If you are upgrading from a Previous Version ...

This update of R10BatchMail features a change in the location of the R10BatchMail Support Files.

These files are now expected to be in the same folder as the R10BatchMail application.

You can input your Preferences into R10BatchMail again, or you can copy your existing files from their current location to the same folder as R10BatchMail.

The current locations of these files for both Mac OSX and Windows 7 are shown below. Other operating systems may vary. In addition the folders may have the 'hidden' attribute set in Windows.

R10Office News

I’ve been working hard on R10Office for the last few days. Not just the functionality of the individual software components but also the way in which the suite is marketed and delivered. Expect to see some news on that soon.

The R10Office suite consists of four totally seperate independent programs that also integrate together seamlessly. If you purchase the R10Office suite rather than the programs individually you can use the R10Office Launcher to run the programs. This may be more convenient than creating seperate aliases or shortcuts for each program.

The launcher is not yet available, but the current development version looks like this on the Mac:

ooSooM Now Available for Download

ooSooM is now available for download.

The User Guide is not yet complete, but there is a Getting Started Manual that comes with the download and is also available to view and print from the website.

ooSooM is a Cross Platform, Free of Charge, Task Management and Digital Filing tool.

One of the unique things about ooSooM is that if you have an R10Cipher license then you have the option of encrytpting your ooSooM information, on an item by item basis, from within the program.

I'll officially release ooSooM in a few days when I have the User Guide completed, but if you'd like to preview it, as is, feel free to download it and let me know your thoughts.
